Work with or without transmit "echo." The converters' RS-232 side has a DB25 or DB9 male or female connector configured as DCE. The converters' RS-485 side has a male or female DB25 or DB9 connector, or a terminal block. If your RS-232 side uses a DB25 connector, choose from three converters: IC1476A-F-US, IC1477A-M-US, and IC1478A-F. If your RS-232 side uses a DB9 connector, choose between the IC1620A-F and the IC1625A-F. Both convert unbalanced RS-232 signals to balanced half-duplex RS-485 signals.
