Depending on your tower, you can provide users on your network with access to up to two, four, five, or seven CDs with business records, library records, or reference resources. Users can search through a database with one drive while accessing another. They can also switch back and forth between a tower's drives at the same time other users are switching. For maximum versatility, multiple users can access the same disc simultaneously. You can connect a tower directly to a Novell(R) LAN server with a SCSI adapter. If your LAN server doesn't have a SCSI card, you may also use the DiscPort PRO to connect the tower to your network. Or simply attach a tower to a standalone Mac(R) for direct CD-ROM access. The SCSI CD Towers are available in four models: T7 CD-ROM Tower--Large, corporate-wide networks rely on the T7 CD-ROM tower for its high-speed drives, ease of use, and access to massive amounts of information. T5 CD-ROM Tower--If your department or small corporation is rapidly growing and adding users to its network, the BLACK BOX(R) T5 SCSI CD Tower gives you an added drive and the advantage of quick data access. T4 CD-ROM Tower--For large department networks, the BLACK BOX(R) T4 SCSI CD Tower features faster transfer speeds and greater reliability than what the competition promises. T2 CD-ROM Tower--The ideal reference tool for small departmental networks, the T2 CD-ROM Tower enables network users to access multiple discs and search between drives. All four BLACK BOX(R) SCSI CD Towers come with powerful, quiet cooling fans and double shutters for added dust protection and product reliability.
