Connectors meet an Ingress Protection rating of 67. Number 6 means the connector is totally protected from dust. Number 7 indicates the connector is protected from the effects of immersion between 15 cm and 1 meter. Use a Panel-Mount Connector with a Backshell Kit to make a water-resistant connection. Water-Resistant D-Style Panel-Mount Solder Connectors Solder cup connectors come in male or female versions. Choose from DB9, DB15, DB25, and HD15 connector styles. Connectors accommodate wire sizes from 30 to 20 AWG. Construction consists of gold-plated brass contacts, nickel-plated steel sheels, and a silicone insulating ring. The maximum recommended panel thickness is 0.062" (0.15 cm). The use of 4-40 screws is recommended. IP67 rated. Water-Resistant D-Style Backshell Kits Include solder cup connectors in male and female genders. Choose from DB9, DB15, DB25, and HD15 connector styles. Connectors accommodate wire sizes from 30 to 20 AWG. Backshell construction features ABS housing, nylon seals, nickel-plated brass thumbscrews, and rubber sealing gaskets. IP67 rated.
