Entraguard Gold works as a standalone telephone entry/intercom system or it integrates seamlessly with the Tiger Series Access Control System. Once networked, the Entraguard Gold manages multiple gates or doors via RS-485. Entraguard Gold comes in two versions: with a Standard Keypad and accessories or with a Radiant Keypad and accessories. The Standard Keypad version features a waterproof lighted keypad that has a Class IP65 rating. It can be outfitted as is, or you can equip it with a telephone handset and/or a low-light black-and-white camera. The handset enables private conversations while the camera is used to visually identify visitors at the gate. The equally durable Radiant Keypad version with alphanumeric searching and scrolling capability make it simple for visitors to locate employees or residents in a large directory. In addition, the Radiant Keypad has no mechanical or moving parts that can wear out. It, too, can be equipped with a telephone handset and/or a low-light black-and-white camera. Both keypad versions feature a soft-white LCD that displays up to 4 lines of text with 20 characters per line. You can program the LCD with up to three scrolling messages. It's perfect for greeting visitors and providing them with instructions on using the system. The Entraguard Gold can store directory codes up to six digits long. Plus it can store phone numbers with 7-15 digits. An internal modem is included for remote programming via RS-485. You can make additions and updates to the system quickly, and the updates don't require a connection to each unit on the line. When choosing a keypad, you must carefully consider ambient lighting at your entrance. In prolonged direct sunlight, a Radiant Keypad might not appear bright enough. In that case, choose the Standard Keypad.
