Description:
Installing transceivers too close together reduces network reliability. This can be a problem if you need to install more than one workstation in a small office. A Fan-Out solves that problem by replacing several individual transceivers. Multiport Fan-Outs eliminate the need to install separate transceivers every time you add workstations, servers, or printers. These two-in-one units reduce your cable and installation costs. Choose the model that's best for your application! With the 4-Port Fan-Out Plus, you can set up a freestanding workgroup con sisting of up to four workstations. The plus? Added fault tolerance. If a DTE falls into a continuous-transmis sion mode, it's the only one affected. The other ports continue with normal operation. Four DIP switches enable you to set the Signal Quality Error (SQE) test at ON or OFF for each individual DTE port. The 8-Port Fan-Out enables you to connect up to eight Ethernet devices to your network with just one tap. Or set up a standalone network. Just plug eight workstations into our Fan-Out whenever you need to create a workgroup in a hurry.
