Description:
Two functions in a single package--that's what you get with our SCSI Differential Converter. This SCSI converter is a high-performance device that translates single-ended SCSI bus signals into differential signals or vice versa. You can also interconnect two of the units and use them as a single-ended to single-ended bus extender for a maximum overall bus length of 36 m (118 ft.). The SCSI Differential Converter supports a maximum data rate of 10 Megabytes per second in synchronous mode, or up to 5 Megabytes per second in asynchronous mode. It's completely transparent to all SCSI-1 and 8-bit SCSI-2 commands and doesn't require a SCSI device address, so you can install it anywhere you need it on the SCSI bus to provide precisely the kind of conversion you need.
