A T1 line gives you 24 DS0 subchannels, each running at 56 or 64 kbps. With the T1 Channel Bank, you can allocate and manage those subchannels any way you want. With multiple-option cards, you can connect exactly the interface options you need. Twelve expansion slots give you plenty of room for your existing global network and for future WAN growth. The channel bank comes with one T1 CSU already installed. That supports your primary connection to T1. The rest is up to you. Add voice, data, or modem cards--whatever you need. Build a T1 WAN and support both voice and data communication to multiple remote sites. Or run a point-to-point data-only operation without modems or CSU/DSUs at the host site. Programmable configurations enable you to control your entire network and run diagnostics from one PC or terminal. You can merge and manage voice channels, data channels, digital service lines, and voice services. You can even set the channel bank to support different links--all voice during the day and all data at night. A single T1 line costs roughly the same as four 56-kbps DDS lines. By running just one T1 line, you save on extra hardware and all those extra leased lines. Each T1 Channel Bank supports ESF and D4 data framing for compatibility with any T1 service. Adding cards First, order the T1 Channel Bank and, if needed, the T1-CB Utility Shelf with AC; then outfit the T1 Channel Bank with a variety of data, voice, modem, interface, and DSX-1 cards: T1-CB High-Speed Data Cards--The V.35 and RS-530 Cards operate in 56- or 64-kbps increments up to either 1.344 or 1.536 Mbps for digital access at 1.536 Mbps. The RS-232 Card connects point-to-point data circuits at 56 or 64 kbps. Dual Data Cards--Each card provides two channels and uses two T1 DS0s. For V.35, order V.35 Adapter Cable; for RS-530 or RS-232, order DB25 Adapter Cable. T1-CB OCU-DP 56/64--Link a CSU/DSU to the T1 Channel Bank to connect remote bridges, routers, etc. B 4-Wire Analog Leased-Line Card--Use this card to connect an analog leased-line modem to the channel bank.
