- Software-transparent. If your workgroup has become slow and congested, our MiniBridge gets your traffic moving again. It bridges between the workgroup and the central network, filtering out extra central network traffic that causes congestion. And because it's so compact, you can do a hotspot analysis almost anywhere. Insert the unit into any segment to relieve bottlenecks. Like all MAC-layer bridges, the MiniBridge learns node addresses auto matically--no software setup is required. Transparent operation means there's no effect on any software applications or LAN management platforms. The bridge supports server-based workgroups of 4 to 256 nodes. We have models for any network media: 10BASE-T, 10BASE5, 10BASE2, and 10BASE-FL/FOIRL.
