- All kits include (1) Single-Port Provider Unit with power supply and (1) Single-Port Subscriber Unit with power supply. These long-distance Network Extenders provide simple LAN connectivity across a T1 or DS3 leased line. Use a pair of Extenders in a point-to-point application to link two networks together--for instance, you can link a branch-office network to your corporate network. Because you're using leased lines provided by your telco, there are no distance limitations--you can extend your network anywhere you can get a line. Use the T1 Network Extender Kit for speeds up to 1.55 Mbps. Our Dual T1 Network Extender Kit provides up to 3.09 Mbps of symmetrical bandwidth over two loop-bonded T1 lines. And our DS3 Network Extender Kit provides speeds up to 45 Mbps. That's right, 45 Mbps! All three Network Extenders use packet-based, IPacket(tm) compliant technology for optimum throughput and reliability. An integrated CSU/DSU is built into the LR0030A-KIT, LR0032A-KIT, and LR0025A-KIT's T1 or DS3 port. Their 10-/ 100-Mbps Ethernet ports are autosensing--just connect to your switch and the extender automatically adapts to your network speed. Installation is easy--the extenders are totally transparent to network protocols, and there's no software to install. Just plug an extender into your Ethernet switch and your T1 or DS3 line, and you're ready to go! Quite simply, there's no easier solution for connecting Ethernet over a leased line.
