Description:
- Add 32 KB Memory Expansion and keep data moving--even with a slow printer or terminal.
- Broadcast async RS-232 data simultaneously to eight terminals or printers.
- All ports are DTE/DCE switch selectable.
- Sends data to four or eight users (with expansion card).
- Configure each port individually. Broadcast async RS-232 data simultaneously to eight terminals or printers. Add the 32 KB Memory Expansion and keep data moving--even with a slow printer or terminal. More memory goes to the slower port, so the host continues to transmit and the faster units continue to receive data. This dynamic memory allocation works in both directions, too. For example, if a terminal sends data to the host, data from other terminals is sent to the buffer and queued. When the first terminal ends its transmission, the unit pulls the remaining information in order from the buffer.
