Experience convenience in server management with the ServSwitch(tm) Ultra Remote or ServSwitch Remote. With these powerful units, you can access your computers from anywhere in the world! Access your servers two ways: from anywhere on your Ethernet LAN or WAN, or through a locally connected keyboard, monitor, and mouse. It's never been so easy to access and control servers--no matter where they are. Set them up and go! Setup is easy and uncomplicated. Just follow the menu prompts. First, install the ServSwitch Ultra Remote or the ServSwitch Remote by connecting it to a ServSwitch. Then connect it to your 10/100 Ethernet network for LAN/WAN access. Connect one keyboard, monitor, and mouse to give local access for each local user. The menu prompts you to assign an IP address, as well as security passwords. Next, run the remote client program (included) at a PC on the network. Enter and save the ServSwitch Ultra Remote's or ServSwitch Remote's IP address and other configuration parameters. Then use their pull-down menus, select the connect icon, type your password, and you're in! You'll be able to access remote servers just as if you were standing in front of them. A front-panel display gives you at-a-glance information on power and the currently connected server. Get on the scale. The ServSwitch Ultra Remote and ServSwitch Remote offer a multitude of features and options so you can control what and how you view your screen. A sophisticated scaling feature offers three modes: scaled, scrolled, or full-screen. With it, you can view and position the image of your server screen anywhere on your monitor in any size you want. You can scale down the image and put it in the corner of your monitor so you can monitor a server while working on other tasks. Or work on the server screen full-size. Scaling down the screen image also enables you to compensate for slower links by reducing data flow. Want to view information from four different servers at once? You can with the quad-screen mode.
