Simply attach a laptop PC between a projector and the local module, then run inexpensive CAT5 cable from the local module to the remote module. Connect a keyboard or mouse to the remote module and voil--the person operating the PC disappears from your audience's view. Intelligent PS/2(R) keyboard and mouse emulation in the local unit enables the local CPU to be booted without an attached remote unit. To convert your USB-style keyboard and mouse signals to PS/2, order the USB to PS/2 Converter (KVUSB). The extender kit is also Microsoft(R) IntelliMouse(R) compatible. Plus, it features built-in surge protection.
