With the RS-232 to Fiber Optic Multiplexor, your network reaps the benefits of fiber systems: super-clear transmission, electrical isolation, and surge protection. Plus you have the choice of sync or async channels. Configure any port on the mux for sync or async operation to match your application's needs. And with our 3-to-1 Adapter Cable, you can triple your async multiplexing capacity! On one dual fiber optic line, you get 24 channels instead of 8. Each sync and async subchannel speed is user selectable up to 19.2 kbps. The composite data rate goes up to 11 Mbps.
