Details Buying from Electrospec Product Specs Features Buying Tips Description: The Sync/Async Fiber Driver provides safe and secure connections for linking full-duplex async or sync devices to high-speed computers over fiber. Data zips at 56 or 64 kbps up to 2.5 miles! You get three types of clocking: internal, external, or from the receive signal. The carrier can be strapped for continuous operation or switched operation. When in switched operation, the carrier is controlled by the RTS signal, enabling transfer of a control signal end-to-end. The Sync/Async Fiber Driver's V.54 diagnostics show your data's status. Two V.54 loops are available: local analog and remote digital. These are activated by an external switch or by toggling the DTE interface signals.
