Description:
Choose the Pow-R-Switch when you need more than simple ON/OFF AC power control to reboot remote network devices. With this switch, you can shut down distant devices or power up dormant ones--permanently! And they all don't have to be located in the same data center. With a maximum end-to-end link distance of up to 2000 feet (609.6 m), you can extend the reach of your remote network control to include up to 10 devices anywhere you need them. Install one master unit (SWI030A) at your local management site (Address 0). Then daisychain up to nine satellite units (SWI031A) throughout your remote site (Addresses 1-9) for one-to-one AC power switching. Control each remote device via dialup modem just by transmitting the ASCII control strings. For convenience, rackmount three satellite modules in one optional rack tray.
