Details Buying from Electrospec Description: KVM switching, especially between CPUs with multiple heads, can easily involve running, bundling, and untangling boatloads of cables. For the ServSwitch Wizard DVI, we offer special ServSwitch DVI KVM cables that have one keyboard strand, one mouse strand, and either one (EHN450), two (EHN460), or four (EHN470) DVI video strands. With just one of these cables, you can make all the necessary connections between a Wizard DVI and a CPU or a cascaded switch. However, you can still use standard PS/2(R) and DVI extension cables if you choose. Even though the DVI specification limits the maximum end-to-end distance for DVI transmission to 5 meters (16.4 ft.), the Wizard DVI acts like a repeater, so you can run DVI cables up to 5 meters on either side of the Wizard DVI.
