Depending on how you connect it, you can use ServShare II as a video splitter to up to four video displays, or four users can access a KVM switch. At its most flexible, ServShare II--used with other ServShare II units and ServSwitch(tm) models--enables many users to connect with several different systems. ServShare II supports resolutions up to 1600 x 1280 on longer cable lengths and higher resolutions of up to 1900 x 1440 with shorter links. For cable runs up to 98.4 feet (30 m), ServShare II features high-quality powered circuitry to prevent signal degradation and keep picture quality crisp. This video booster feature ensures that picture quality remains sharp over longer distances. ServShare II also has an external power supply for connections beyond 6.5 feet (2 m). When the switch is used with the external power supply, you can use relatively long cable links between ServShare II, user consoles, your system's shared resources, and other KVM switches.
