Available with either 9 or 16 camera inputs, Panasonic Digital Disk Recorders use sophisticated compression techniques and 160 or 320 GB hard drives for extensive storage capacity and longer recording times. When used with the Panasonic Total System Controller (WV-CU650), these digital disk recorders enable you to scale up to 4 DDRs for a total system capacity of 64 channels. Each video channel is independently programmable via a user-friendly GUI. Record cameras in multiscreen displays and even assign a specific recording speed and compression rate to individual cameras. You can also set the recorder to begin recording when it senses activity through its integrated video-motion detector. Use the Intelligent Motion Search function to search for motion events once the recording is done. Versatile event search and filtering enable you to retrieve images by time/date, camera number, and recording mode. A built-in Web server gives you easy camera pan/tilt/zoom control via a standard Web browser. Or simply control your cameras over a standard coax connection.
