Stability and versatility. Action Organizers provide solid, four-post stability for your equipment. Plus, built-in wiring troughs make cable management easy! Cabling to and from equipment and patch panels can be secured neatly in a rack's rails--away from power cords and the adjacent racks' cables. Optional joining kits, shelves, cable management, and power solutions bring even more versatility to this adaptable rack. Join multiple racks. Install multiple rack units side-by-side or back-to-back in a modular configuration in no time at all! Just order an optional Joining Kit (RM927). A shelf that goes anywhere you want it. Install an optional Vented Quick-Release Shelf (RM921-RM922, RM929) for storing equipment that can't be rackmounted. Vents in the shelf ensure proper airflow to help cool your hardware. You can even detach and attach the shelf anywhere in the Action Organizer without using the predrilled EIA mounting holes. Best of all, no tools are required for the shelf's installation! Additional cabling and power management. Want to secure the cables firmly in the rack? Then order a Cable Management Kit, which is available with 4"- or 6"-deep (10.2-cm or 15.2-cm) D-rings (RM923-RM924). Both kits also include various sizes of VELCRO(R) straps for keeping your cable bundles wrapped tightly. For additional Action Organizer cable runs, you can order the Cable Management Channel (RM926). This unit, which mounts vertically to any of the rack's upright rails, gives you maximum wire-management capabilities with its six built-in 6" x 2" (15.2 x 5.1 cm) D-rings. Like the Cable Management Channel, the Cable Channel (RM925) is easy to attach to the Action Organizer's upright rails. The Cable Channel, however, features six 2" x 2" (5.1 x 5.1 cm) D-rings and enables you to mount two 20-amp power strips. This way, you can keep your equipment close to its power source.
