DTE models support async modem connections via DB60 or a high-end router DB25 auxiliary interface. Support ATMs attached to routers using DLSw or STUN. Enable DTE/DCE connectivity between two routers to emulate HDLC or Frame Relay lab/classroom environments. Provide for out-of-band management of network devices and support reverse Telnet.
