The RS-232 EHC311 enables you to attach 3X74 serial controllers to a router using DLSw or STUN, eliminating proprietary IBM(R) cabling. The RS-232 (DB25) models support console and auxiliary connectivity to terminal devices on high-end routers. DTE models enable connectivity to digital or analog tail circuits. DTE models support async modem connections via DB60 or a high-end router DB25 auxiliary interface. Support ATMs attached to routers using DLSw or STUN. Enable DTE/DCE connectivity between two routers to emulate HDLC or Frame Relay lab/classroom environments. Provide for out-of-band management of network devices and support reverse Telnet. Provide sync connectivity to SDLC communications servers. Feature a fully mold-injected housing with soldered internal connections for durability.
