Set it up and monitor network traffic, troubleshoot problems, and run test equipment with no interruption in data flow. Signal integrity is guaranteed! Incoming data is actually regenerated before transmission. Use the module with common network equipment, such as routers, hubs, switches, and LAN analyzers. Connect two ATM or Ethernet devices to Ports A and B on the module. Connect a LAN analyzer to the monitor ports. The LAN analyzer can then monitor traffic between the two devices. The module even maintains network continuity whether or not it's connected to an analyzer. Don't worry about compatibility problems. The module operates in half- and full-duplex modes. You can use it with Fast Ethernet, Ethernet, ATM, SONET, and FDDI networks. It operates at OC3 and OC12. The module features three duplex SC 62.5-/125-um fiber connectors.
