Our extender hubs make it easy to put your CPUs or ServSwitch(tm) KVM switches where you want them--and they combine the functions of six regular local units into one rackmount chassis. Simply connect six remote units via CAT5 UTP and attach your CPUs with our Coax CPU Cable (EHN230). The extender hub and remote units require no software, are operating-system independent, and work with a wide variety of hardware. They also perform complete PS/2(R) keyboard and mouse emulation for the attached CPUs. Extender Hub with Serial and Bidirectional Stereo Audio (ACU1006VRA) Each port on this unit has transparent serial links, and all are wired as DCE. It transmits TX, RX, RTX, CTS, DTR, and DSR signals. This hub also has serial-extension capabilities that enable you to transmit KVM signals and serial data up to 1000 feet (304.8 m). Audio extension provides bidirectional stereo transmission across the link on all ports. Audio is sent digitally for noise-free, near-CD quality sound. Dual-Access Extender Hub with Serial and Bidirectional Stereo Audio (ACU1006DVRA) This extender offers all the features of the ACU1006VRA but with dual-access capabilities. This enables you to attach two workstations to each CPU--one local and one remote. Use the local connections to the attached CPUs. Just plug the keyboard, monitor, and mouse into the connectors for the CPU you wish to monitor. Or add a ServSwitch for local access to all CPUs from one keyboard, monitor, and mouse. Bidirectional and Serial Stereo Audio Standalone Remote Unit (ACUVREM) This remote unit is capable of resolutions of 1600 x 1280 at 200 feet (60.9 m), 1280 x 1024 at 300 feet (91.4 m), or 1024 x 768 at 1000 feet (304.8 m). Order one for each active hub port. Micro Standalone Remote Unit with Bidirectional and Serial Stereo Audio (ACUWREM) If you only need to extend distance 150 feet (45.7 m), this unit enables bidirectional stereo audio support and a full-duplex serial data link. It's capable of 1280 x 1024 resolution. Order one for each active port on our hubs. Bidirectional and Serial Stereo Audio Rackmount Remote Unit (ACU1006MRVA) This rackmounted chassis features six ACUWREM modules described above.
