Here's the perfect entry-level access control system. It's economical, easy to install, easy to manage, and provides controlled access to a single doorway for up to 500 users. It's perfect for installation in areas such as apartment buildings, day care centers, and small businesses. To install the complete IntelliProx 2000 Keyless Entry System, start with a Single-Door Access Control Module--the brains of the system. All access privileges and alarms can be programmed via PC into the module using the included database software. You can also program the privileges and alarms into the Hand-Held Programmer. It works much like a TV remote and makes it easy to enroll and void proximity cards. Next, you'll want a Proximity Reader to read access cards. Select the reader with the 4" range for applications where users can walk right up to the door and hold the card up to the reader. The longer-range readers--up to 14"--don't require that users be as close. They are a better choice for applications--such as in a parking garage--that enable users to stay in their car and simply wave the card in the general vicinity of the reader. When you need to expand, the IntelliProx 2000 Keyless Entry System is ready. It supports standard 26-bit Wiegand output enabling you to use it as part of a larger system. If the main system goes down, the IntelliProx automatically reverts to operating as a standalone unit.
