Description:
- The T1 CSU-B includes a power supply.
- Enables passive data monitoring in either direction.
- Transparent to ESF or SF framing formats and AMI or B8ZS line coding. By using the T1 CSU-B, you can establish an interface between a T1 carrier network and your premise equipment, such as channel banks, T1 muxes, PBXs, or other equipment with integral DSUs. The T1 CSU-B also provides alarms, loopbacks, signal regeneration, line build-out, surge protection, and easy configuration. Plus, it's transparent to ESF or SF framing formats and AMI or B8ZS line coding. Two RJ-48C jacks provide interruptive Transmit and Receive connections between your DTE and the T1 carrier. Separate bantam jacks gives you access for passive data monitoring in either direction. The T1 CSU-B can be powered from your telephone line. Check with your phone company to see if your phone line is powered.
