The Site Survey Cart and Design Software Kit enables you to conduct active or passive site surveys--even in very large or multistoried buildings--in a single pass! The kit is easy to use--just mount your wireless-enabled laptop computer on the site survey cart, load up the software, and start mapping. The site survey cart maps as it goes so you don't have to. When you push it through the area you want to survey, its wheels measure distance and direction as your laptop measures signal strength. The software package (included) makes sense of the measurements by displaying them in an easy-to-read, color-coded map. Then use the software's advanced features to further analyze your data. For instance, you can drill down to specific values of signal strength, noise, and SNR, mapping each value to its specific location. The design software that comes with the cart is for use with one laptop. To ensure you're working with the most up-to-date technology, you can order one full year's worth of software updates. (Software updates are included for 90 days.) To use the design software with more than one laptop, order an additional software license for each laptop. The site survey cart folds neatly into its wheeled carrying case when not in use.
