With a built-in access point and a 4-port switch, the Pure Networking 802.11g Wireless Router is ideal for establishing a small hybrid network with an Internet connection. IP sharing with NAT/NAPT enables up to 253 computer users--whether their equipment is wired or wireless--to share a single connection. The router works with many different types of WAN connections, including ADSL, cable modem, and leased line. It also supports Dynamic IP, Static IP, PPPoE, PPTP, L2TP, and Telstra Big Pond protocols. Plus, built-in Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall protection provides a shield that protects the PCs on your LAN from illegal access and many kinds of DoS attacks. The virtual server and DMZ function enable you to make your servers available to the Internet while protecting your intranet. Advanced security features include IEEE 802.1x and AES/TKIP/WEP Data Encryption.
