- Only 1U high--perfect for rackmounting. The new BLACK BOX(R) T1/E1 CSU/DSU 2-Channel Plus provides T1/E1 conversion and is ideally suited for areas that deploy both high-speed services. It comes with two N x 56-/64-kbps data ports that can support data, LAN traffic, and videoconferencing--and these ports can be individually selected for RS-232, RS-422, RS-530, or V.35 applications. With its T1/E1 drop-and-insert digital port, this CSU/DSU can be used to support PBX voice communications. When the drop-and-insert port is used in combination with the two data ports, you don't need a channel bank for most applications, which saves you a bundle! Configure the CSU/DSU via the front-panel LCD display or its command port.
