Certify Category 5 cable and quantify crosstalk headroom with Power Sum NEXT (PS-NEXT) measurements and Cable Grading. PS-NEXT ensures that links will support four-pair active networks. Certify your LAN cable with guaranteed accuracy exceeding TIA TSB-67 Level II requirements. Test all TSB-67 parameters: wiremap, length via TDR, NEXT, and attenuation. Matching tester units enable you and a partner to perform automatic bidirectional NEXT measurements for both basic link and channel testing. Detailed test results, including graphs, appear on both LCDs. Both basic link and channel test configurations can be tested per TSB-67 without external adapters that can introduce errors. Plug-in Performance Modules provide an optimal interface to the link and minimize measurement error. They also enable easy connections to 110 blocks, BIX blocks, ALL-LAN (mini-C) jacks, coax, and fiber optic cable. Both units perform full master or remote functions interchangeably. You specify which by setting the front dial.
