Combine alarm system and access control system events in one report. There are many different kinds of alarm systems and many of different kinds of access control systems. But only the Tiger II Alarm Integration System integrates both functions in a single easy-to-use, easy-to-manage package. The system enables you to arm or disarm the alarm system at the same time you lock or unlock the door with a simple card reader, thus eliminating the need to hurry to a keypad to prevent a false alarm. The Tiger II family of PXL-510 controllers is specially configured to link with the NetworX Alarm Panel (NX-8E). The Alarm Panel controls all alarm functions and is completely programmable with the NetworX Alarm Keypad (NX-148E). From the keypad, you can designate different levels of access for different users. User-access information is preprogrammed into the system, which makes arming and disarming the alarm system both foolproof and user-friendly. It results in fewer false alarms because users are not required to use a keypad or remember a PIN. You can configure proximity card readers so that users can gain access, or arm and disarm the alarm system from any reader that you designate. Each Alarm Panel can control up to eight zones. With special Expansion Modules (NX-216, NX-216E), each Alarm Panel can control up to 192 separate zones. All zones are programmable--you can even have separate features for each, including independent entry and exit delays for each partition. Additionally, some zones may be assigned to more than one partition. Because each user's access card has its own unique ID, the system knows who armed or disarmed the alarm. In fact, all alarm and access information is easily captured in the Doors(tm) Access Control Software, where it may be combined and used to create many different kinds of monitoring and access control reports.
