The BLACK BOX(R) Line Tester monitors analog phone lines for dial-tone quality and power while tracing tone signals to locate hard-to-find lines. It also diagnoses jack polarity by testing tip and ring configurations. The Line Tester even includes a drop- and moisture-resistant plastic case.
