Description:
With a standard parallel connection, you can send data about 25 feet (7.6 m) before encountering electrical interference and signal degeneration. For longer distances, you need the BLACK BOX(R) Short-Haul Modem-B Parallel. With a pair of these short-haul modems, you can send data to printers up to 5 miles (8 km) away. Use the T and R models together for parallel-to-parallel applica tions. To run parallel-to-serial or serial-to-parallel applica tions, com bine either model with our Short-Haul Modem-B Async (ME800A-R3).
