These converters include built-in 2500-Vrms optical isolators that provide isolation between the RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces. And if equipment protection isn't enough, these converters work with both 4-wire and 2-wire installations! Use them to transmit full- or half-duplex over 4 wires or half-duplex over 2 wires. Choose from four different models. The RS-232 interface features either a male or female DB25 connector. The RS-485 side has a terminal block or RJ-45 connector.
