Yet it's packed with more features and conveniences than you'll find in more expensive sets. If you're a datacomm installer, repair technician, or MIS staff member responsible for wiring and terminating telephone and LAN systems, you'll find this battery test set takes a load off your back--and hands. It's small enough to carry in your pocket or clip on your belt. Plus, the headset leaves your hands free to do the job--instead of trying to juggle the test set and lines. Use the LT Express to identify lines, to check for clarity and wiring polarity, and to listen for any problems caused by poor connections or improper terminations. You'll hear crisp, clean sound, especially when using the Amplified Monitor. It gives you volume levels comparable to off-hook operation. To turn the sound off, a microphone mute button is conveniently located on the test set. The LT Express also features continuous polarity indication (talk or monitor). To save battery life, the tester powers off after 15 minutes on dead or disconnected lines. You can also use the LT Express to talk with coworkers in remote locations while you check lines. You'll like the large, easy-to-read LCD. It displays more information than other test sets, such as: on-hook voltage, off-hook current, number dialed, stored numbers, setup information, and more.
