The BLACK BOX(R) 10/100 Serial Server brings 10/100 Fast Ethernet support to our Rackmount 10/100 Serial Terminal Servers (LES2700-16-R2, LES2700-32-R2). It's the affordable, flexible way to provide serial-to-Ethernet conversion in a mixed Ethernet and Fast Ethernet environment. The 10/100 Serial Server supports a wide range of applications with its DB25 serial port. For example, you can network-enable a device with only serial port access. Or you can use the 10/100 Serial Server to provide a serial connection requiring modem controls. The 10/100 Serial Server also features a variety of network connectivity options, including automatic host connections, disconnects on loss of modem control signals, and tunneling of serial data over the network.
