Like our Compact CAT5 Audio/Video Splitter, the CAT5 Audio/Video Splitter enables you to send both audio and video from a CPU to multiple computer monitors over ordinary shielded CAT5 cable. But this splitter is built into a box that's larger and more substantial, making the splitter more suitable for environments such as computer rooms. For easy accessability, all connectors are on one side of the unit. Just plug and play! The CAT5 Audio/Video Splitter is a pure plug-and-play hardware solution--just plug in the connectors and it works. There's no special software to install. You'll need one CAT5 Audio/Video Splitter for your CPU plus a remote unit for each monitor you're sending audio and video to. The CAT5 Audio/Video Splitter uses ordinary CAT5 cable to distances of up to 360 feet (109.7 m). It comes in both 2-channel and 4-channel versions. To broadcast to more monitors, you can easily cascade splitters.
