The Entry Unit features a weather-proof lighted keypad and a vandal-resistant chassis. Kit available with power supply, bypass switch, and surge protector. Compatible with Call Waiting and Call Forwarding. Double rings distinguish a call from the gate from a regular phone call. When your gated community or facility requires a basic, solid-state telephone entry and intercom solution, choose the Entraguard(tm) Bronze system. It provides passcode-protected PIN entry for up to 50 office or resident touch-tone phones. Visitors arriving by car at your site simply press the Call button on the Telephone Entry Unit. This in turn produces a double ring on the employee's or resident's phone. The person on the receiving end then speaks with the visitor and grants access to the premises by pressing a programmed telephone button. A second telephone button can be programmed to command a second gate (often a pedestrian gate). Calls can also be forwarded to another phone on-site so that the gate can be opened remotely even when the employee is away from the office or the resident is not home. In addition to saving the time it would take to walk from an office or a residence to let someone in, Entraguard Bronze also saves money. It uses existing telephone lines and eliminates the extra expense of adding dedicated office or residential phone lines to the Telephone Entry Unit. The Telephone Entry Unit is made from tough 14-gauge steel. Its angled, waterproof lighted keypad has a Class IP65 rating and is vandal-resistant as well. In addition, you don't need to replace incandescent light bulbs for the lighted keypad--it's virtually maintenance-free! The Telephone Entry Unit includes a built-in microphone and speaker to provide safe, hands-free convenience for visitors arriving by car. And in case a visitor arrives while an employee or a resident is on the phone with someone else, the Entraguard Bronze is compatible with Call Waiting, so no one is left stranded at the gate. Choose from two Telephone Entry Units. The EGB-50 model includes the built-in microphone and speaker. But for added security, the EGB-50-CO model includes a low-light black-and-white camera used to visually identify visitors at the gate. Guard posts can spot visitors on a CCTV monitor or residents can see who's at the gate by turning to Channel 2 on their TV sets. All Entraguard Bronze Telephone Entry Units require a power supply for operation.
