Description:
AC-Powered Active or Passive (CL050A-R3, CL050-C) and Passive Only (CL051A, CL051-C)--Configure these AC-powered converters to match your system's 20-, 30-, or 60-mA Current Loop interface. With front-panel LEDs, you always know the status of your data. The easy-to-use self-test feature checks the converter's internal circuitry. The standalone RS-232<->Current Loop Interface Converter (CL050A-R3) comes with a 6-foot (1.8-m) DB9 Female/DB25 Male Cable (EVMBMC-0006) and a DB9 Male/DB25 Female Adapter (FA521A-R2). Optical isolators in both the Transmit and Receive loops keep out electrical interference. Interface-Powered (CL412A)--Features a 4-screw terminal block for use with twisted-pair cable. It works in passive applications. The RS-232<->Current Loop Interface-Powered Converter connects to either a modem or mux. Just flip the switch to attach a terminal or computer. Your RS-232 devices are protected from dangerous transients, too. Opto-isolators in both the Transmit and Receive loops keep out electrical interference.
