Description:
Need powerful muxing capacity for short-range jobs? The Local Mux-6 carries a load. This full-duplex mux enables up to 12 async channels to be multiplexed onto a single channel! Turn its 6 subchannels into 12 with a simple Doubler Cable connection. Set the mux's internal strap to select the number of channels and you're ready to go--send data up to 1 mile (1.6 km) over 24 AWG. Multiplexing is done using an oversampling technique. Each of the 12 channels is sampled at 157.2 kbps.
