If you're not in the office every day but need dial-in and dial-out access to a variety of LAN servers and the Internet, consider one of our Remote Access Servers. Remote Access Servers provide dial-in access for remote users, telecommuters, or business travelers. They also enable everyone on your LAN to share a pool of modems, saving you money on additional modems or lines. This can save you a fortune on additional modems and lines. The servers feature high-speed serial ports to connect to common async modems or ISDN adapters. And they handle sustained data-transfer rates up to 115.2 kbps. Extensive system support For greater flexibility, Remote Access Servers work with a wide range of hosts--NetWare(R), OS/2(R) LAN Server, Windows NT(R), and UNIX(R). In fact, they support all major desktop operating systems as well as all major LAN operating systems. Remote PCs can access all network resources in NetWare, OS/2 LAN Server, Windows NT, or LAN Manager. The latest version of the Remote Access Server boasts features that make it even more flexible. In addition to supporting more operating systems, the server enables you to dial up your LAN using IP. Tight security Protect corporate information systems from unauthorized access with the server's individual user names and passwords and fixed dialback user confirmation. The server has features built-in, multilevel Windows NT Domain Server Authentication security. In addition to individual user name and password protection, the server supports fixed dialback confirmation. Along with Windows NT Domain Server, the server supports PAP, CHAP, NetWare Bindery, PassGo Defender, and SecurID-ACE/Server. Packet filtering accepts or rejects incoming data packets according to filter definitions you set. Easy installation The server's menu-driven screens guide you through its simple installation process. You can be on-line quickly and easily in only five minutes! Install and operate the provided manager software from a PC attached directly to a LAN or remotely via a high-speed modem. The front-panel display and keypad make performing management tasks over the server easy. For maximum flexibility, Remote Access Servers have in-band and out-of-band management for Windows(R) or DOS users. Windows 95 or 98 users also get a native dialup networking facility.
