Because each segment is served by a separate port on the Modular Fiber Switch, high-speed filter/forward operations allot a full 100 Mbps (or 10 Mbps) of bandwidth to each port's segment. Install a multimode SC module for the long haul. The 100-Mbps multimode SC fiber module (LE1421C-40K) supports full-duplex transmissions up to 40 kilometers (24.8 mi.)! Network changes and additions are quick and easy with the self-learning Modular Fiber Switch. These switches automatically learn and maintain the addresses of attached nodes.
