Built to NEMA Type 3, 3R, 4, 4X, and 12 guidelines, the corrosion-resistant enclosure features a foam-in-place gasket and a latching door that provide an excellent seal against liquid and dirt. You can mount the DataSafe NEMA Outdoor Cabinet on a rooftop or a tower (with the optional Pole Mounting Kit). To keep interior equipment cool when the cabinet is exposed to a lot of sunlight, order the optional Solar Shield Top. Inside and out, the cabinet has a textured, corrosion-resistant, light gray finish, and its seams are welded for a continuous, ground-smooth appearance. Constructed of lightweight aluminum, it's easy to handle and install. The cabinet's removable three-point door features a hidden hinge and has a vertical stiffener and latch that hold it in place during servicing. And although the door comes with a screwdriver-slot latch, an optional Padlocking L-Handle is also available. You can also order a Mounting Panel for surface mounting equipment on the rear of the enclosure. For installing 19" equipment, use zinc-plated, 14-gauge steel Rack Angles.
