Description:
- Built-in surge protection and transformer isolation. Connect an RS-232, a V.35, or an X.21 device to a 64-kbps G.703 network with a Compact Codirectional G.703 Converter from Black Box. Choose from three models: The RS-232 model (IC700A) plugs directly into an RS-232 DTE and comes with a DB25 male connector. The V.35 model (IC701A) plugs into a V.35 DTE and has a M/34 male connector. The X.21 model (IC702A) plugs into an X.21 DTE and has a DB15 female connector. All versions also come with an RJ-45 jack for 120-ohm twisted-pair network termination. Because these tiny converters plug right into a DTE port, they hardly take up any space at all. Compact Codirectional G.703 Converters incorporate local loopback and G.703 loopback diagnostics modes. And they feature built-in transformer isolation and surge protection for protection against ground loops and transient surges.
