Description:
Break the 20-meter (65.6-ft.) distance limit and extend your 488 bus to 1000 meters (3281 ft.) with a pair of these extenders. You can also expand the number of devices on your bus from 14 to 28 (14 devices on each side, plus the extenders). The extenders use 115.2-kbps serial transmission and differential RS-422 drivers and receivers to give you the distance you want. The IEEE 488 Bus Extender is transparent to the controller and doesn't require programming changes for most applications.
