Our Video Baluns enable you to use CAT5 or CAT3 UTP cable to transmit video! Because they use twisted-pair cable, you can use your building's existing wiring system to connect most baseband audio/video equipment, including security cameras, monitors, and VCRs. Video-Only Balun (IC440A) Use a pair of these baluns to convert a single composite baseband video signal from 75-ohm coax cable to UTP via an RJ-45 connection. Composite baseband signals converted include NTSC, PAL, and SECAM. The balun features one RJ-45 connector and one BNC connector. Video Stereo Audio Balun (IC441A-R2) By using a pair of Video Stereo Audio Baluns, you can convert a composite baseband signal from 75-ohm coax video to UTP. Composite baseband signals converted include NTSC, PAL, and SECAM. Video Stereo Audio Baluns can also convert 600-ohm RCA audio signals to UTP. The balun features one RJ-45 connector, one BNC connector, and two RCA connectors. RGB Video Balun (IC442A-R2) Use two RGB Video Baluns to convert a composite baseband red, green, blue (RGB) signal from coax to three UTP pairs (CAT5 or CAT3 cable). RGB Video Baluns are ideal for surveillance systems used in banks, stock exchange floors, casinos, and any other high-security area requiring quality video. Each balun includes three color-coded coax jumper cables. 2-Way Video Mono Audio Balun (IC443A-R2) This dual video balun is designed for standard baseband audio/video equipment using RCA connectors for both audio and video. A pair of Video Mono Audio Baluns enables a two-way connection of a composite baseband coax video and RCA mono audio signal to UTP cable. S-Video Baluns (IC447A, IC449A) Here are great alternatives to using bulky, expensive S-Video cable when connecting LCD projectors, S-Video splitters, and other devices that have S-Video connectors. Used in pairs, S-Video Baluns enable you to send an S-Video signal across ordinary CAT5 UTP cable in a point-to-point connection. You'll also get greater distance in the process--up to 1000 feet (305 m)! Moves, adds, and changes are easier, too.
