Used at both local and remote ends, the Wireless T1/Ethernet units provide 2.3-Mbps full-duplex communications and distances up to 50 miles (80.5 km). Because the devices operate in the 5.725-5.850 GHz license-free spectrum, they avoid the overcrowded 2.4-GHz license-free band and provide faster and more affordable deployment, resulting in higher Quality of Service (QoS). No frequency coordination or license fees are required. Order an indoor unit and outdoor antenna unit for each side of the wireless link, plus the cables to connect the units and a configuration cable to optimize each antenna unit's setup. These Wireless T1/Ethernet units are perfect for point-to-point communications in areas where wired links are either too expensive or impractical to install, or in applications that call for rapid deployment or a temporary hookup. You can use the system to quickly set up data communications at temporary facilities (such as military encampments, construction sites, and mining operations), or for backup links and disaster recovery applications. What's more, the ability to carry both Ethernet/IP and T1 (TDM) traffic over a wireless link makes it ideal for connecting LANs and PBXs at dispersed campus locations and backhauling cellular base stations and Wireless Local Loop (WLL) services.
