Description:
The SmartNode 485 responds to address polls, holds information until send time, and even converts data rates and word structures. Each port can be set for different speeds and word structures. Two-wire RS-485 support is included with the product. To use other RS-485 equipment with SmartNode and to add serial interface capabilities to your PC, try our RS-422/485 Serial Interface Plus (IC050C). It turns your PC into the master on a SmartNode network without adding an external converter. For external conversion, use the RS-232RS-485/422 Converter Plus (IC108A or IC109A-R2). Or if you're at your distance limit, you need the RS-485 Repeaters (IC150A or IC158A).
