Description:
- Half- or full-duplex operation.
- Generates signal timing for proper operation of sync DTEs. THE BLACK BOX(R) X.21 Sync Modem Eliminator replaces two high-speed synchronous modems,enabling direct DTE-to-DTE connections. It operates at 56 or 64 kbps with a maximum range of 330 feet (100.5 m) on each side. The X.21 SME generates the signal timing required for proper operation of the two sync DTEs, as well as the control and indication signals necessary to emulate half- or full-duplex operation.
