Description:
Transmitting data between buildings? You'd better guard against damaging ground loops. Ground loops occur when you link devices powered by separately grounded AC power sources. But a BLACK BOX(R) Opto-Isolator stops them by internally transforming electrical signals into fiber optic light pulses. This "air gap" breaks the copper connection between the two AC systems, preventing potential equipment damage while enabling data to flow uninterrupted.
