Description:
Design the network you want--either point-to-point or ring. The 48-Channel Async Fibr Optic Mux multi plexes up to 48 async terminals onto one channel. A built-in modem pro pels data up to 2.5 miles (4 km). With local and remote loopback, monitoring is easy from either end of the system. LEDs show remote and local sync loss, power, and tests. The mux connects to async terminals via a telco 50-pin connector.
